Autodesk Inc. is hiring a Principal Partner Business Consultant

About the Role

Autodesk Inc. is looking for a Principal Partner Business Consultant to own the strategic relationship with a Platinum Partner. You will be responsible for developing a comprehensive growth strategy and driving new business opportunities through the partner. This role reports directly to the Director of Channel Sales.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partner strategy to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with partners and internal stakeholders to develop joint business plans, set targets and milestones, measure results, and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Understand partners' business and organizational structure to ensure a common vision between Autodesk and its partners.
  • Work with partners to help identify areas of investment and support execution.
  • Conduct business reviews to evaluate performance, track, and report on key performance metrics, such as revenue generated through partnerships and partner pipelines.
  • Identify areas for improvement based on performance data.
  • Oversee contractual requirements with partners.
  • Provide training and enablement resources to partners to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and tools to effectively sell our products and services.
  • Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry changes.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including sales, technical, marketing, customer success, and product, to align partner activities with overall company objectives.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years in a customer-facing sales or services-oriented role, with partner experience being ideal.
  • Proven track record of channel sales or partner sales leadership.
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market sales initiatives.
  • Experience managing strategic partnerships and driving revenue growth.
  • Knowledge of sales and sales management processes.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working in a highly matrixed virtual environment to accomplish joint business objectives.

Team & Environment

You will report directly to the Director of Channel Sales. This role operates in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $184,894 and $285,450. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles.

Work Mode

This is a remote position open to candidates in the Baltimore metropolitan area, Atlanta metropolitan area, or Dallas metropolitan area.
