Humana Inc. is looking for a Principal, Negotiation Hub to develop enterprise-wide contracting tools, education, and processes. You will build the foundation for effective provider negotiations and provide strategic guidance to functional teams and senior executives.
What You'll Do
- Build templates, standard documentation, policy, protocol, and case studies, and disseminate best-in-class knowledge.
- Provide strategic advice and guidance to functional team(s).
- Work with senior executives to develop and drive segment or enterprise-wide functional strategies.
- Advise one or more areas, programs, or functions and provide recommendations to senior executives on matters of significance.
- Manage IDN (Hospital System) Negotiation Hub process: pre-hub strategy meetings with data/dashboards, develop hub meeting agendas, and ensure market teams identify top provider pain points.
- Manage backlog of IDN contracts going through Hub and dashboard to track progress.
- Flag when deals are not aligned to IDN program standards and drive escalations and follow-ups.
- Collect feedback from market teams and Negotiation Hub participants to inform IDN Program development and evolution of CSA.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
- 8+ years of contracting, network operations, hospital, or strategy experience.
- 2+ years of project/people leadership.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and efficient.
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in business or related field.
- Track record of leading strategic meetings/discussions.
- Experience working with and influencing cross functional teams.

- Compensation: $126,300 - $173,700 per year.
