Medtronic is hiring a Principal Internal Communications Specialist to lead strategic internal communication activities, programs, and content guided by our Mission. This principal-level individual contributor is responsible for aligning organizational goals, enhancing employee engagement, and driving business impact within a global healthcare technology company committed to alleviating pain, restoring health, and extending life.

What You'll Do

• Create and implement multiple forms of strategic internal communication activities, programs, and content.
• Lead strategies, produce content, and organize events to align organizational goals and support employee engagement.
• Generate comprehensive strategic plans that engage employees with company objectives, policies, Mission, and growth strategies.
• Plan, craft stories, write, and edit content to persuade, educate, and inspire internal audiences to change behavior or understand their work environment.
• Support senior leadership in communicating key change initiatives, policy changes, and other company information to employees.
• Deliver and manage assigned projects, working with other stakeholders to achieve desired results.
• Act as a mentor to colleagues or direct the work of other lower-level professionals.
• Manage large projects or processes that span outside of your immediate job area.

What We're Looking For

• Mastery of a specialty area and full knowledge of industry practices, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
• A baccalaureate degree (or equivalent international degree) and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
