What You'll Do
- Collaborate with clients to develop secure IT and OT architectural designs, either by evaluating current setups or building new ones using threat modeling and risk assessment.
- Apply core security concepts like Defense In Depth and Zero Trust in practical, context-aware ways to address real-world risks.
- Evaluate network configurations and system environments against recognized standards such as CIS benchmarks, CIS18, and CSI guidelines.
- Turn technical findings into prioritized, actionable guidance that aligns with both security best practices and the client’s strategic goals.
- Lead in-depth security assessments of systems and networks, identifying weaknesses and misconfigurations with support from technical teams.
- Design and implement robust IT architectures that support continuous monitoring and long-term resilience.
- Advise on the secure integration of third-party technologies in IT and select OT environments.
- Develop and deploy technical and organizational controls tailored to client needs.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity improvements by enhancing technical safeguards and procedures.
- Assist incident response teams in restoring compromised systems and identifying follow-up security enhancements.
- Mentor junior cybersecurity consultants and provide expert input across projects.
- Oversee project execution to ensure timely delivery, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with budgets.
Requirements
- Citizenship in one of the 32 NATO member countries is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security or enterprise architecture roles.
- At least 2 years of hands-on work with system configurations, implementations, or troubleshooting.
- Strong grasp of operating systems, network protocols, and secure infrastructure design principles.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Entra ID, or Azure security features.
- Proven ability to lead teams, coach peers, and contribute effectively in collaborative settings.
- Experience managing projects or small teams.
- Working knowledge of French or Dutch is an asset.
