Klaviyo is looking for a Principal Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. This role serves as a strategic finance partner to senior leaders across our Corporate and G&A functions, including People, Legal, Finance, IT, and Facilities. You will drive company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and decision support that informs our corporate strategy.
What You'll Do
- Own and evolve company-wide FP&A processes and operating cadence, including forecasting, variance analysis, reporting, and month-end close support.
- Serve as a core contributor to quarterly and annual earnings processes, partnering with Accounting and Finance leadership on scenario modeling, drafting earnings narratives, and QA of financial results.
- Act as a thought partner to Finance leadership, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and trade-offs that inform corporate strategy and operating decisions.
- Lead end-to-end financial planning and forecasting for G&A functions, translating complex operating plans into clear financial implications.
- Own annual operating plan, monthly & quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning for assigned cost centers, building advanced models for headcount, compensation, benefits, and operating expenses.
- Provide executive-level decision support through concise reporting, dashboards, and scenario analysis, proactively surfacing insights to influence leadership priorities and resource allocation.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Deep expertise in budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial modeling for cost centers and operational functions.
- Experience working with financial tools like Pigment, Adaptive, Planful, NetSuite, or ERP/BI integrations to enhance forecast accuracy and process efficiency.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong executive communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Nice to Have
- Strong preference for experience in SaaS or high-growth environments.
- Advanced degree or certification like an MBA, CFA, or CPA.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $132,000—$198,000 USD.
