Bombardier is looking for a Principal Engineer to manage and deliver engineering projects tied to major program milestones for our new and existing aircraft platforms. In this role, you will lead multidisciplinary teams to define project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring the highest standards of performance and integrity that define our industry.
What You'll Do
- Manage and deliver engineering projects and activities for major program milestones on time.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to establish project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate technical engineering change planning with all stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Bombardier engineering practices and knowledge standards.
- Collaborate with technical experts, business leaders, suppliers, and customers to maintain project compliance.
- Define and manage engineering priorities for multiple projects, performing schedule analyses and communicating key impacts and risks.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure successful project execution.
- Participate in internal safety and security processes to assess and resolve potential product gaps.
- Prepare and ensure visibility of budgetary needs and resource allocation.
- Develop and present project performance reports at different organizational levels.
- Coordinate IPDT (Integrated Product Development Team) reviews and manage multi-site engineering activities.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in engineering or a relevant technical diploma with equivalent experience.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in project management or aerospace engineering.
- Mastery of program and project management principles and tools.
- Strong technical or manufacturing experience in the aeronautical field.
- Professionalism, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with great attention to detail.
- A proactive, natural leader able to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Autonomous, motivated, results-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Technically curious with a desire to learn.
- Proficiency in MS Office.

- Experience in structures or systems development.
