Nagarro is hiring a Principal Engineer to lead technical solution design for data science and predictive modeling initiatives. In this senior role, you will translate complex business requirements into robust technical architecture, define guidelines, and conduct thorough reviews and proofs of concept. What You'll Do

Understand client business use cases and technical requirements, converting them into technical design.
Map architectural decisions to requirements and translate them for development teams.
Evaluate multiple solutions to identify the best option meeting client needs.
Define guidelines and benchmarks for non-functional requirements during project implementation.
Write and review design documents explaining overall architecture, frameworks, and high-level design.
Review architecture and design for extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, and NFRs.
Develop the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, selecting technologies, patterns, and frameworks.
Understand and apply technology integration scenarios and learnings to projects.
Resolve issues raised during code review through systematic root cause analysis.
Carry out proofs of concept to validate suggested designs and technologies.

What We're Looking For

11+ years of total professional experience.
Hands-on data science experience focusing on predictive modeling (e.g., Statistical Analysis, ANOVA, Time Series, Regression) and optimization.
Strong working experience with Data Science on GCP and Generative AI fundamentals.
Strong experience with Python (and/or R) and libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn.
Strong knowledge of Cloud Architecture and deploying data solutions in ecosystems like AWS, Azure, GCP.
Proven expertise in machine learning, mathematical optimization (e.g., LP, IP, genetic algorithms, RL), and NLP techniques.
Familiarity with Generative AI fundamentals and hands-on experience with RAG, Lang Chain, Llama Index, and prompt engineering.
Strong understanding of MLOps principles and tools for CI/CD, monitoring, and model lifecycle management.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
