About RevoData

  • RevoData is a boutique Data & AI consultancy and proud Databricks Gold partner.
  • They focus exclusively on Databricks, allowing them to go deep and do things properly.
  • They help companies across Europe unlock the value in their data, helping them design and build scalable platforms that support real business use cases.
  • They foster a no-ego, no-nonsense culture where collaboration, proactivity and knowledge sharing are part of everyday work.

About you

  • You’ve led data platforms from idea to reality - more than once: Not just contributing, but owning the outcome.
  • You’ve made architectural decisions, dealt with the consequences, and improved things along the way.
  • Databricks is a tool you truly understand, not just use: You don’t just implement pipelines - you shape how platforms are structured.
  • From Delta Lake design decisions to Unity Catalog setup and governance, you define foundations that scale.
  • You’re comfortable working across the platform: orchestrating with Workflows, structuring code and deployments properly, and thinking through how data flows from ingestion to consumption.
  • New to Databricks but wan't to specialise quickly? Still apply - we have a track for you!
  • You bring structure where there isn’t any: You can take a vague ambition (“we need a data platform”) and turn it into something concrete - defining approach, architecture, and first steps without needing everything handed to you.
  • You balance pragmatism with quality: You know when to push for a better design, and when to move forward with something “good enough for now.”
  • You don’t get stuck in theory, but you also don’t create future problems.
  • You raise the level of the people around you: Through reviews, discussions, and the way you work, you make others better - without it feeling forced or hierarchical.
  • You influence decisions in the grey area between tech and business: You can challenge assumptions, explain trade-offs, and guide decisions - whether you’re speaking to an engineer, a product owner, or a CTO.

Nice to have

  • Databricks certifications (Data Engineer Professional, Machine Learning Engineer Professional etc.)
  • Databricks Champion status
  • Fluency in Dutch

💡 Already a Principal but new to Databricks?

  • We focus exclusively on Databricks, so you'll be working with your hands deep in the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform: PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, and the latest Mosaic AI features.
  • But we don't expect you to walk in as a power user.
  • If you’ve built strong data platforms on other stacks and want to specialise in Databricks quickly - that's enough to get started.
  • For candidates without Databricks experience who want to ramp up quickly, we're willing to invest.
  • We offer a 7 month crash course covering certifications, hands-on client project work, and an internal knowledge-sharing session to cement what you've learned.
  • This track transitions to a permanent contract upon reaching the agreed milestones.
  • It's designed to get you up to speed fast, with full support from the team along the way!
