Grainger is looking for a Pricing Intern for a learning-focused internship designed to help you explore how different business areas interact. This role combines day-to-day work assignments with cross-functional meetings, executive exposure, and soft skill development.
What You'll Do
- Create and analyze quotes and bids according to Sales and customer needs, competitive information, and company objectives
- Learn processes and techniques for creating pricing structures based on multiple criteria including market, competition, and product mix and margin guidelines
- Maintain Imperial’s vendor and customer cross-reference database
- Understand cost of goods increases and implement appropriate price adjustments
- Complete special projects related to pricing, quoting, and margin analysis
What We're Looking For
- Active enrollment in a 2 or 4 year accredited college in a relevant course of study
- Strong oral and written communications skills, with the ability to work effectively and build relationships with others
- Good organization and planning skills
