About the Role
This position is responsible for developing and managing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to enable data-driven insights across departments. The developer will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional reporting solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to business needs
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure accurate data pipelines
- Translate business requirements into technical reporting specifications
- Maintain and optimize existing Power BI reporting infrastructure
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely updates in all reports
- Apply data modeling best practices within Power BI environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues in a timely manner
- Support self-service analytics initiatives across business units
- Document report logic, data sources, and user instructions
- Stay current with Power BI feature updates and platform enhancements
- Integrate data from multiple sources into cohesive reporting views
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies
- Conduct user training and provide ongoing report support
- Participate in agile project delivery cycles
- Collaborate with IT teams on system integrations and data access
