Canada Post is looking for an on-call Post Office Clerk to join our retail team in Warren, Ontario. In this customer-focused role, you will be the face of our operations, providing essential postal services to the community.
What You'll Do
- Sell postal products and services to businesses and the public.
- Sort, distribute, and process mail correctly.
- Provide customers with information and necessary forms.
- Handle delivery and service difficulties to resolve problems quickly and completely.
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma, provincial equivalent, or relevant business administration experience.
- Training and/or experience in customer interaction in retail and/or service environments, including sales and cash transactions.
- An understanding of basic accounting systems or post office operations.
- Physical ability to lift mail containers weighing up to 50 lb, push or pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for long periods.
- Flexibility to be available for on-call temporary tasks.
- Mandatory bilingualism (French/English).
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $20.54 per hour.
