AECOM is hiring a Platinum Client Account Manager

Responsibilities

  • Lead and expand a high-priority enterprise account within the transportation sector, maintaining confidentiality and strategic focus.
  • Oversee a long-term portfolio in Melbourne focused on transport infrastructure, including roads, rail, stations, tunnels, interchanges, and integrated mobility and intelligent transport systems, as well as active transit and digital transformation of assets and data.
  • Define the strategic direction for the account while building and maintaining executive-level relationships with C-suite stakeholders.
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery across advisory, planning, engineering, digital solutions, environmental sustainability, and project management to deliver measurable improvements in safety, reliability, capacity, and carbon reduction.
  • Identify client objectives and pain points, align engineering and technical solutions to address them, and generate and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Develop compelling value propositions for major bids, integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) and resilience factors, and leverage enterprise-wide capabilities to differentiate offerings.
  • Provide executive-level oversight on key initiatives, including leadership workshops and strategic stakeholder engagement.
  • Lead periodic business performance reviews to assess progress and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Advocate for superior client experience and ongoing service enhancement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with client leadership, delivery partners, and industry influencers to identify strategic growth avenues.
  • Use professional networks to uncover new opportunities and form alliances that advance transportation business growth.
  • Transform qualified prospects into sustained partnerships through focused engagement and value-driven solutions.
  • Monitor trends in the transportation market, policy developments, and competitor activity to shape account strategy and positioning.
  • Convert market and client insights into customised offerings that support priorities such as capacity expansion, system reliability, and decarbonisation.
  • Grow account value through consultative sales approaches and disciplined account planning.
  • Negotiate contract terms that balance risk and reward, creating mutual benefit and reinforcing long-term partnerships.
  • Manage multiple concurrent workstreams and coordinate diverse stakeholders to ensure on-time, high-quality, and compliant project delivery.
  • Collaborate with advisory, design, environmental, digital, and program management teams to ensure execution aligns with client goals.
