Weave is hiring a Platform Engineer to focus on cloud infrastructure for TrueLark, an AI-powered virtual receptionist platform recently acquired by Weave. In this role, you will deploy, optimize, and secure applications in Azure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and reliability.
What You'll Do
- Provision and manage containerized applications in Azure using AKS, ACI, or App Services.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines for Docker image builds and deployments with GitHub Actions or Azure Pipelines.
- Configure Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to detect database and application bottlenecks.
- Manage Application Gateway, Front Door, or Traffic Manager for HTTPS routing, WAF policies, and load balancing.
- Enforce security measures including HTTPS-only access, secure headers, private endpoints, RBAC, Key Vault, and firewall configurations.
- Host SPAs (React) securely on Azure Blob + CDN or Azure Static Web Apps, enforcing CORS policies and monitoring client-side errors.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Azure-focused cloud infrastructure roles.
- Proven expertise with Azure Infrastructure (ARM Templates, Bicep/Terraform, Azure CLI).
- Proven expertise with Containers & Orchestration (Docker, ACR, AKS, ACI).
- Proven expertise with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker Compose).
- Proven expertise with Monitoring & Logs (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Kusto).
- Proven expertise with Database Monitoring (Azure SQL Insights, Query Performance Insight).
- Proven expertise with Load Balancing & Gateways (Application Gateway, Front Door, Traffic Manager).
- Proven expertise with Security (Azure AD, Key Vault, RBAC, OAuth2/OpenID, WAF, NSG/ASG).
- Proven expertise with Scripting (Bash/PowerShell).
- Proven expertise with Frontend Security (CSP, HSTS, secure cookies, CORS policies, CDN configs).
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and microservices architecture.
- Experience debugging production bottlenecks in distributed systems.
Nice to Have
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
- Hands-on experience with multi-region, high-availability deployments.
- Contributions to open-source cloud/DevOps projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
