Evooq is looking for a Platform Engineer (or Site Reliability Engineer) to join our engineering team. You'll be part of a small-sized team responsible for a wide range of infrastructure tasks, from building new components to helping developers deliver reliable and performant services.

What You'll Do

Configure, automate, deploy, and evolve the infrastructure for our production and acceptance environments in the cloud.
Provide tooling and automation to support several dozens of internal services, helping the engineering team understand, improve, and monitor their services.
Improve our continuous delivery pipelines to make it easier for developers to release changes reliably and safely.
Administrate databases and production components, debug issues, ensure performance, and plan for failures to minimize impact.
Integrate security changes into our delivery process and improve the security of our systems.

What We're Looking For

Experience developing applications with Python and/or Go.
Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code.
Experience with at least one cloud provider like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Familiarity with container orchestration technologies such as HashiCorp Nomad or Kubernetes.
Familiarity with GNU/Linux-based systems.
Experience working with a microservices architecture and awareness of its operational trade-offs and challenges.
Experience managing distributed systems and databases and understanding how to optimize them.
