Join Transparent Hiring as a Platform & Data Engineer (m/f/d). You will design and deliver internal solutions to improve data and workflow structure across a reinsurance business. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building solutions from scratch with limited resources by combining and adapting existing tools.
What You'll Do
- Own the architecture and delivery of scalable internal solutions end-to-end.
- Translate business needs into clear technical designs and working systems.
- Build and improve data pipelines, integrations, and automation.
- Establish clean foundations for data reliability, reporting, and operational tooling.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Germany and the US.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of proven experience building and delivering data/platform/process solutions.
- Experience creating architecture from scratch with limited resources.
- Strong skills in Python and SQL.
- Solid understanding of data architecture, system design, and integration patterns.
- Comfortable working with ownership and autonomy.
- Fluent professional English (spoken + written).
Nice to Have
- Experience in insurance, reinsurance, or other regulated/financial domains.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern data tooling.
