Westinghouse Nuclear is hiring a Plant Technician to support the operation and maintenance of CNG and RNG fueling infrastructure. You will be based in the Mokena, Illinois area, providing essential technical support for field and plant sites.
What You'll Do
- Install, maintain, and repair CNG and RNG fueling infrastructure, including compressors, storage systems, and dispensing equipment.
- Provide operational support for CNG/RNG stations, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose CNG systems, including portable CNG compressor trailers used for fleet refueling.
- Participate in RNG projects, such as biogas processing plants that convert manure digester gas into pipeline-quality RNG.
- Collaborate with field teams to maintain uptime and efficiency of CNG/RNG stations.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or educational equivalent.
- Proficiency with computers and the use of office-oriented equipment and software.
- Ability to pass criminal background, drug/alcohol screen (including medical and recreational marijuana and CBD oil), and employment testing.
- You must be local to the area; no relocation or per diem is offered.
