Oracle America, Inc. is hiring a Pipeline Cloud Solution Architect to partner with customers and internal teams to design, demonstrate, and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that solve critical business problems. You will accelerate the adoption of Oracle cloud services from discovery through production deployment.
What You'll Do
- Engage with strategic and complex customers, building leadership relationships at multiple levels to design and implement solutions.
- Work directly with customers to gather requirements, develop architectures, and translate business needs into solutions.
- Implement solutions and ensure successful deployments through code development and scripting.
- Demonstrate product and application understanding through highly customized presentations for customers and at industry events.
- Support customers from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment via resource configuration, planning, and education.
- Create and distribute technical assets, including white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations.
- Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new solutions, products, and processes.
- Act as an acknowledged technical authority for customers and sales on cloud solutions and customer success.
- Identify gaps and enhancements to influence engineering roadmaps for customer-driven features.
- Maintain expertise by staying current on emerging technologies.
What We're Looking For
- 12 years of experience with computer applications and tools.
- Ability to travel 50% internationally and domestically.
Nice to Have
- A Bachelor of Science-level university degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering from an accredited university; and/or 12 years of relevant technical experience.
- An advanced degree in a relevant field of study.
- Expertise in penetrating accounts, meeting with stakeholders, and interacting with C-level executives.
- Competitive and industry knowledge in the field of computer applications and tools.
- Experience in system and application design.
- Experience implementing advanced product features.
- Project management skills.
- Experience solving technical problems with customers in technical environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in needs analysis, positioning, and business justification.
- 12 years of experience and expertise in the clear communication of technical information through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication.
