RTX Corporation is seeking a SSO Engineer to join our Identity & Access Management team, focusing on the integration and support of Single Sign-On solutions. In this remote role, you will be responsible for application onboarding, troubleshooting, and ensuring secure, compliant access across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Provide engineering support for SSO tools, primarily PingFederate and PingAccess, alongside emerging technologies like EntraID.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to integrate applications with our SSO solutions.
- Assist with troubleshooting user issues related to SSO integrations.
- Develop documentation, workflow diagrams, and test scripts as needed.
- Work with the team to resolve technical and non-technical problems.
- Participate in production support for any incidents.
- Identify and communicate risks and issues, providing recommendations for potential fixes.
- Follow precise processes and procedures to ensure compliance with RTX security policies, government requirements, and industry standards.
What We're Looking For
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- Strong working knowledge of authentication protocols: OAuth/OIDC, SAML, WS-Fed.
- Minimum 3 years of significant application integration experience with PingFederate and PingAccess.
- Prior experience integrating SSO products in complex environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with SiteMinder, EntraID, OKTA, Azure (federation), ADFS, LDAP, Active Directory, Kerberos, and Linux.
- Experience with scripts and OGNL expressions.
- Superb planning and organizational skills.
- Adaptability and multi-tasking; experience working in a fast-moving environment.
