Baptist Health was looking for a Pike Road Assistant Practice Manager

Baptist Health is hiring an Assistant Practice Manager to support the daily operations of its physician clinic in Pike Road. You will assist practice leadership, monitor clinic functions, and lead initiatives to improve processes and train staff.

What You'll Do

  • Assist Practice leadership with the daily operations of the physician clinic.
  • Monitor the ambulatory clinic's daily functions and overall operations.
  • Review patient registrations on a sample basis to identify issues and training opportunities.
  • Develop and conduct standardized training and assist with operational process improvement and new hire orientation.
  • Maintain and develop educational and training documentation for all clinic staff.
  • Contact Physicians or other departments regarding procedures and diagnoses to ensure proper data entry.

What We're Looking For

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Administration or 3 years of comparable experience in a healthcare or supervisory related field.

Nice to Have

  • Training in medical terminology.
  • Clinical experience as a Medical Assistant, LPN, or other clinical related field.
  • Billing and/or coding experience.
