Unknown Company is hiring a Physician - Virtual Urgent Care (Part-time)

Oscar Medical Group is looking for a part-time Physician to provide virtual urgent care to Oscar Health Insurance members. You will deliver compassionate, evidence-based care via audio, video, and written communication, helping to refactor healthcare in a personalized way.

What You'll Do

• Provide high quality care for patients in a virtual setting.
• Collaborate with Physicians and Advanced Practice Leads on complex patient cases.
• Follow up on labs, imaging, and maintain closed-loop communication with patients and providers.
• Use tooling for virtual exams including remote monitoring equipment and point-of-care diagnostics.
• Participate in a collaborative care model with registered nurses, medical assistants, PCPs, behavioral health clinicians, and clinical supervisors.
• Participate in required meetings such as huddles, case conferencing, and service line All Hands.
• Provide feedback to support improvement in operational workflows and product features.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

What We're Looking For

• MD/DO from an accredited program.
• Board Certification in ER, FM, or IM.
• 3+ years of outpatient urgent care or emergency department experience.
• 2+ years of experience delivering virtual care/telemedicine.
• Licensed in TX, TN, FL, GA, OH, NJ (must have three out of the six).
• Willingness to be licensed in additional states with our assistance, using our licensing vendor.
• Compact license from IMLCC or eligible for a compact license (hold a full, unrestricted medical license in a state that is a member of the Compact).

Nice to Have

• Able and willing to obtain additional licensure in Oscar Medical Group states: AZ, CA, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, KS, MI, NC, NE, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, TX, VA.
• Spanish fluency.

Benefits & Compensation

• Compensation: $90 - $136 per hour.

This is a fully remote position open to candidates in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Washington D.C.
