Santander is looking for a Physical Security Associate to manage life safety and physical security activities for assigned corporate facilities. In this onsite role based in Quincy, you will be responsible for overseeing critical security systems, managing contract staff, and ensuring compliance with our security policies and standards.

What You'll Do

Manage life safety & physical security activities for assigned facilities.
Oversee and manage contract security staff.
Manage building critical security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
Develop and implement security & life safety procedures and standards to ensure compliance with Santander's policies.
Develop and maintain the building's emergency response plans.
Ensure compliance with local fire codes and life safety standards.
Foster relationships with building tenants, Santander's businesses, security integrators, neighboring businesses, and local police and fire department officials.
Conduct annual reviews of the physical security program at corporate buildings to ensure compliance with Physical Security Standards and Procedures.
Conduct building risk classification assessments for all corporate back-office locations throughout your assigned region.
Liaison with building security and landlords to share intelligence and address physical security concerns.
Manage physical security projects ensuring compliance with Santander Security Standards.
Develop security plans for buildings, branches, and ATMs.
Conduct annual branch and Remote ATM site inspections to identify potential issues or gaps in security measures.
Conduct new technology assessments to determine if a security product would be a good fit for the security program.
Conduct physical security device inspections in back offices.
Provide technical project management support for retail and corporate projects.
Ensure incidents and threats are appropriately escalated per the Corporate Security Incident Response Procedure.
Respond to threats in the workplace, coordinate with law enforcement and arrange measures to protect colleagues.
Provide support for life safety programs including onsite coverage for evacuation drills, inspection of safety hazards, training, AED, etc.
Conduct assigned investigations related to bank robbery, workplace violence, ATM attacks, insider threats, and outside threats.
Develop liaison with local and federal law enforcement as well as industry peers.
Assist with providing protective services for corporate events and board meetings as needed.
Attend and contribute to weekly security vendor project calls.
Assist Human Resources to provide security during high-risk employee terminations as needed.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Security management, Electronics, Technology, or an equivalent field.
5+ years of Security experience required, preferable with exposure to building technologies supporting commercial real estate.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated skills in managing vendor and solution/service providers.
Strong organizational skills with ability to set priorities; manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines.
Ability to effectively interface with all levels of employees.
Exhibit and champion excellence in work and willingness to embrace change.
Flexibility with schedule and ability to work beyond regular business hours.

Nice to Have

Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
Experience in Microsoft Office products.

Benefits & Compensation

Salary range: $61,875.00 USD - $107,500.00 USD
