The E.W. Scripps Company is hiring a Photographer II for WSYM, our Fox affiliate in Lansing, Michigan. As a visual storyteller, you will capture moments that define the community and bring compelling content to life across multiple platforms.
What You'll Do
- Capture and edit visual content for multiple platforms.
- Operate and maintain live equipment including microwave, satellite, and related news gathering equipment.
- Work in tandem with newsroom personnel to create and develop news stories.
What We're Looking For
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver's license, a good driving record, and the ability to provide proof of insurance with the company required insurance limits.
Nice to Have
- An associate's degree in a related discipline.
- Generally 2+ years of experience in a related field.
Technical Stack
- Lighting and computer-based editing.
- Live microwave truck operation.
Team & Environment
You will work in tandem with newsroom personnel.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position in Lansing, Michigan.
