Nacar is hiring a Photo & Video Editor to execute high-quality edits in a fast-paced, iterative creative environment. You'll work on real weekly briefs for social ads, UGC-style content, and branded campaigns.
What You'll Do
- Edit photos (retouching, compositing, color grading) and videos (cuts, motion graphics, pacing) for social media channels including Reels, TikTok, and Instagram.
- Deliver 3-5 test edits within your first two weeks to demonstrate your speed and style.
- Work from provided scripts, raw footage, or creative direction, focusing on execution.
- Optimize final content for platform-specific specs and current trends.
- Iterate quickly based on feedback to refine and polish edits.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Lightroom (or equivalents like DaVinci Resolve, CapCut).
- Ability to match a variety of brand aesthetics, from clean and bold to trendy.
- A strong sense of pacing, visual storytelling, and creating attention-grabbing edits.
- Understanding of 'scroll-stopping' social content mechanics like hooks and captions.
- Capacity to deliver polished edits within 24-48 hours for test projects.
- Openness to feedback and ability to pivot styles as needed.
Nice to Have
- Basic skills in After Effects or motion graphics for text animations and simple effects.
- Experience using AI editing tools like Runway, Topaz, or Adobe Firefly.
- Background creating ads or e-commerce content such as product videos.
