Grand Canyon University is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach online Philosophy courses for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. You will deliver high-quality instruction in a modern, collaborative environment with smaller class sizes, enriching the academic experience for students.
What You'll Do
- Provide program instruction, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies and current technologies reflecting advancements in your discipline.
- Maintain compliance with requirements for program accreditation.
- Participate in and support the university program, demonstrating alignment with the institution's philosophy and direction, and service to the community.
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission.
What We're Looking For
- A Master’s degree in Philosophy, Psychology, Rhetoric, Education, or Communications.
- Or, a Master’s degree in any field with 9 graduate credits in Philosophy and substantial teaching experience.
Nice to Have
- A PhD or Doctorate in Philosophy.
