About the Role

Kempinski Hotels is hiring a Personal Trainer to deliver exceptional fitness experiences at our international standard spa. In this role, you will conduct gym classes and provide personalized training to both hotel guests and members, upholding the high standards of service Kempinski is known for.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure the safety of all guests and employees using the Fitness Center.
  • Exhibit sensitivity to guests’ needs and cultural differences.
  • Motivate guests to adhere to a fitness program and achieve their goals.
  • Evaluate guests’ physical fitness levels and develop tailored fitness programs.
  • Teach exercise classes, coordinate timetables, and update them regularly.
  • Monitor guest progress in their fitness programs.
  • Assist members in the Fitness Center with equipment use.
  • Maintain top physical condition and prepare fitness department equipment and supplies daily.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments pertinent to the department.
  • Perform special projects delegated by management.
  • Ensure a pleasant visit for each guest, including adequate towels and water supply.
  • Conduct tours of the facility and maintain its cleanliness and neatness.
  • Take inventory of the Fitness Center monthly.
  • Maintain appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniform, appearance, and posture.
  • Maintain all equipment and report damages or losses to the Fitness Manager.
  • Perform duties in a timely and efficient manner according to company policies.
  • Adhere to Rules & Regulations, Fire, Hygiene, Health & Safety policies.
  • Report and rectify potential and real hazards immediately.
  • Adhere to the Hotel’s Employee rules & regulations.
  • Report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

What We're Looking For

  • A recognized fitness and personal training qualification.
  • First Aid and CPR proficiency.
  • Three (3) years personal trainer / fitness instructor experience in an international standard spa.
