Online Marketing United GmbH is looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist (m/w/d) to own the technical foundation of our web projects. You will be responsible for building and optimizing websites, implementing precise tracking, and ensuring data integrity while collaborating closely with our performance and content teams.
What You'll Do
- Set up high-quality websites and develop existing projects.
- Implement clean tracking setups for GA4, GTM, conversion events, forms, calls, and bookings.
- Ensure data is correctly captured, validated, and traceably documented.
- Optimize website performance and technical structures.
- Handle simple server administration in our own hosting environment.
- Manage provider changes, domain transfers, and website migrations.
- Implement cookie consent solutions and ensure legally compliant tracking structures.
- Work closely with the performance and content team to improve conversion funnels.
- Contribute ideas and help develop internal web and tracking standards.
What We're Looking For
- 2–3 years of experience in web design/development with a focus on tracking, ideally in an agency environment.
- Very good WordPress knowledge.
- Confident handling of Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
- Understanding of conversion logic and user guidance.
- Basic technical understanding of hosting, server structures, and website migrations.
- Structured, independent way of working and a desire to take responsibility.
- Openness to feedback and further development.
Nice to Have
- Experience in UX optimization.
- Basic knowledge of SEO.
- Experience with performance marketing teams or conversion optimization.
- Experience in the hotel or tourism sector is advantageous.
