Directive, a revenue-first marketing consultancy, is hiring a Performance Creative Designer as an individual contributor. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the company's visual identity, producing high-impact ad creative for performance marketing, and designing sales materials for enterprise prospects.
What You'll Do
- Steward and evolve Directive's visual identity across all touchpoints.
- Build and maintain a scalable design system for our three divisions, multiple verticals, and the Stratos platform.
- Establish clear brand standards and apply them consistently.
- Translate brand positioning into a visual language credible to a CMO-level audience.
- Design and produce static ad units across LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, and programmatic display.
- Produce motion graphics and short-form video cutdowns (:15, :30, :60).
- Edit existing video assets into high-performing ad units.
- Collaborate with the media team to interpret campaign performance data into creative decisions.
- Build and execute A/B creative tests.
- Maintain visual consistency across ad creative for different audiences and platforms.
- Design pitch decks, proposal templates, one-pagers, and case study presentations.
- Build reusable sales enablement assets and templates.
- Develop division-specific collateral (Performance, Communications, Commerce).
- Partner with strategy and growth leadership to understand selling narratives.
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of professional design experience, with a meaningful portion in an agency, professional services, or B2B marketing context.
- A portfolio showing range across brand work and performance creative.
- Demonstrated experience designing for paid social platforms (LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, YouTube).
- At least 1–2 years of motion graphics and short-form video production experience.
- Experience designing sales and pitch materials for professional services or B2B context.
- Adobe Creative Suite — expert level in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
- Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro — proficient.
- Figma — experience with design systems, component libraries, and collaborative handoff.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and CRO tools (Optimizely, Unbounce, Crazy Egg, or equivalent).
- Heavy reliance and comfortability with generative AI.
- You produce deliverables that ship weekly.
- You connect design decisions to outcomes.
- You read performance data (CTR, watch time) and respond to it.
- You communicate proactively and give accurate timelines.
- You take feedback well and revise without drama.
- You are comfortable in ambiguity.

- Familiarity with a marketing analytics stack — GA4, Looker, or similar.

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $75,000-95,000
