Directive is looking for a Performance Creative Designer to define and drive its visual identity forward. This senior individual contributor role is central to shaping how the company presents itself, producing high-converting ad creative, and designing compelling sales materials for enterprise prospects.
What You'll Do
- Steward and evolve Directive's visual identity across all touchpoints
- Build and maintain a scalable design system for three divisions and multiple industry verticals
- Establish clear brand standards and ensure their consistent application
- Design static ad units across all required platform specs for LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, and programmatic display
- Produce motion graphics and short-form video cutdowns optimized for social advertising
- Edit existing video assets into high-performing ad units
- Collaborate with the media team to interpret campaign performance data and inform creative decisions
- Build and execute A/B creative tests, from hypothesis to analysis
- Maintain visual consistency across all creative while adapting to different audiences and platforms
- Design pitch decks, proposal templates, one-pagers, and case study presentations
- Build reusable sales enablement assets that the growth team can adapt independently
- Develop division-specific collateral that carries a distinct identity within the broader brand system
- Partner with strategy and growth leadership to understand the selling narrative for each asset
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of professional design experience, with meaningful work in an agency, professional services, or B2B marketing environment
- A portfolio showing range across brand systems and performance creative that drove measurable results
- Demonstrated experience designing for paid social platforms (LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, YouTube), understanding specs and attention constraints
- At least 1–2 years of motion graphics and short-form video production experience
- Experience designing sales and pitch materials for a professional services or B2B context
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Proficient in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro; you can produce and deliver without a separate editor
- Proficient in Figma for design systems, component libraries, and collaborative handoff
- Familiarity with A/B testing and CRO tools (Optimizely, Unbounce, Crazy Egg, or equivalent)
- Heavy reliance and comfort with generative AI and a recommended tool-set
- You produce real output that ships weekly
- You connect design decisions to outcomes and understand what drives conversion and brand perception
- You read performance data (CTR, watch time) and respond to it as an input
- You communicate proactively, give accurate timelines, and surface blockers early
- You take feedback well and revise without drama in a multi-stakeholder environment
- You are comfortable in ambiguity and treating an incomplete design system as a blank canvas
Nice to Have
- Experience with project management tools like Asana
- Familiarity with a marketing analytics stack (GA4, Looker, or similar) to independently extract creative implications
