Semgrep is looking for a People Business Partner to partner with our GTM and G&A leadership to drive People strategy aligned with business goals and build foundational development frameworks. You'll join a scaling People team at a company of 200+ global employees dedicated to career growth and a respectful environment.
What You'll Do
- Partner with GTM and G&A leadership to drive People strategy that aligns with business objectives.
- Act as employee champion and trusted advisor—managing complex employee relations while addressing wellbeing needs.
- Design career development frameworks including job architecture, leveling guidelines, and promotion criteria.
- Coach managers to become world-class leaders who excel at career conversations and team development.
- Guide workforce planning decisions including org design, compensation philosophy, promotion frameworks, and ensure global compliance.
- Build Semgrep's L&D foundation—determining what HR structures we need now versus later.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of HRBP experience, including supporting international teams.
- Past success in building learning and development programs or career frameworks.
- A track record of coaching managers to become effective developers of talent.
- Operational excellence with HR tech stack experience.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in a fast-paced, tech environment.
- Familiarity with modern L&D approaches and tools, with the ability to build scalable programs.
- HR tech stack experience with Rippling, CultureAmp, Pave, Carta.

You'll be part of the scaling People team, partnering directly with GTM and G&A people leaders within our 200+ global employee company.
