Motorola Solutions is hiring a Penetration Tester to join our premier cybersecurity consulting group. In this US-remote role, you will provide consultative services to customers, determining the effectiveness of their deployed cybersecurity controls. You will conduct security assessments across a diverse range of environments, including Enterprise, Public Safety, P25, E911, Computer Aided Dispatch, Fixed Video, and FedRAMP networks and products.
What You'll Do
- Execute comprehensive web application penetration testing.
- Safely use various open-source penetration testing tools and emulate hacker tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Develop comprehensive and accurate reports and presentations for consumers of penetration testing results.
- Perform security testing and configuration review of major cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Apply the MITRE ATT&CK framework for analyzing adversary TTPs.
- Maintain a 70% billable utilization with an estimated workload of 3-4 assessments per quarter.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or 5+ equivalent years of experience in a Cyber role.
- Minimum of one certification such as Pentest+, CEH, OSCP, OSWE, and/or GPEN.
- 2-5 years' experience in at least three of these areas: network penetration testing, web application penetration testing, social-engineering assessments, scripting, exploit development, application development, reverse engineering, or source code review.
- Strong knowledge of tools used for wireless, web application, and network security testing.
- Thorough understanding of network protocols, data on the wire, and covert channels.
- Solid understanding of Unix/Linux/Mac/Windows operating systems, including bash and PowerShell.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract and customer background checks.
Nice to Have
- Certifications including CEH, Pentest+, OSCP, OSCE, OSWE, or SANS.
- Experience with security testing and configuration review of major cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
- Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and security models, including IaaS, PaaS, and serverless architectures.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Ability to successfully interface with clients both internal and external.
- Ability to document and explain technical details in a concise, understandable manner.
- Ability to integrate Artificial Intelligence into the pentesting workflow for vulnerability discovery, exploitation, and assessment documentation.
- Ability to manage and balance a team and your own time among multiple tasks.
