UW-Stevens Point is hiring Peer Tutors to support fellow students in achieving their learning goals. You will work with peers in a collaborative, inclusive environment, focusing on one of our service areas: Writing, World Languages, Humanities, Social Science, or Music.
What You'll Do
- Provide tutoring and academic support in one of the designated service areas.
- Assist learners in developing effective study skills and test-taking strategies.
- Learn and consistently apply TLC and tutoring program procedures.
- Regularly check staff email and communicate with other staff members.
- Attend required orientations, meetings, and training sessions.
What We're Looking For
- Completed at least one semester at UWSP with at least two semesters remaining.
- Demonstrate a strong grasp of course material, evidenced by a 3.0 GPA or above and/or a faculty recommendation letter.
- Available to tutor for at least two semesters.
- Willing to work with peers in a collaborative, inclusive learning environment.
- Enjoy helping others learn.

- Compensation: $12.00 per hour.

Work Mode
This is an onsite position located on the UW-Stevens Point campus.
