Baptist Health is hiring a Patient Care Technician to join our patient care team at Baptist Medical Center East. In this role, you will serve as a supportive member who assists RNs, LPNs, and Physicians in the patient care process, focusing on routine and non-complex care tasks.
What You'll Do
- Assist in routine and non-complex aspects of patient care.
- Assist RNs, LPNs, and Physicians in the patient care process.
What We're Looking For
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- BLS certification required.
Nice to Have
- Graduate from a certified Nursing Assistant Program or a Health Occupations Program (HOSA).
- Completion of first clinical rotation as a Nurse Student (i.e., completion of 'Nursing Fundamentals' course).
- 1 year of experience in a patient care role in an acute care, nursing home, or home care setting.
Team & Environment
