St. Mary's Medical Center seeks a dedicated Patient Care Assistant to join our clinical support team. You will play a vital role in assisting nursing staff by conducting patient care activities, contributing directly to patient comfort and the smooth operation of our unit.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct and indirect non-professional nursing care under nursing or medical supervision.
- Perform patient care duties including cleaning, taking vital signs, and obtaining lab specimens.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and escort them as needed.
- Handle clerical duties, charting, and ordering and receiving supplies.
What We're Looking For
- Documentation of a score of 80% or higher on the Medical Terminology exam.
- Proof of satisfactory completion of a Medical Assistant degree or Certified Nurses Aide certification.
Team & Environment
You will work in the 2 South Med Surg Department, providing essential support to the nursing team and patients in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment.
Work Mode
This position requires daily onsite presence at St. Mary's Medical Center.
