Community Health Network is looking for a Patient Access Representative to serve as the first point of contact when visitors enter our facilities. As an ambassador for our network vision to simply deliver an exceptional experience, you will be central to creating a positive and efficient environment for our patients. What You'll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors entering facilities.
- Check patients in and out.
- Schedule appointments.
- Perform patient registration and verify demographics.
- Verify insurance coverage.
- Provide telephone coverage.
- Perform data entry.
- Obtain authorizations and perform pre-registration.
- Handle new patient referrals.
- Collect payments at point of service.
What We're Looking For
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, have attention to detail, strong organization skills, and be a team player.
- Excellent critical thinking skills.
- Proficient in data entry with multiple software applications.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products.
Nice to Have
- Two years of experience in customer service or a healthcare office setting.
