Responsibilities
- Build and expand outbound pipeline targeting Indian SaaS, fintech, e-commerce, and enterprise accounts
- Set up introductory meetings with target influencers and key decision makers across Indian companies
- Develop innovative outbound outreach strategies – phone, email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp – suited to the India market
- Nurture and qualify prospects to showcase product demos and uncover pain points
- Maintain pipeline data and account information in DevRev's in-house CRM
- Collaborate with the India AE team to ensure smooth SDR → AE handoffs per the defined process 1
- Provide market feedback on India-specific buyer behavior, objections, and competitive dynamics
Requirements
- BA/BS or equivalent educational/professional experience
- 1–3 years of prior experience as an SDR, BDR, or inside sales rep, preferably in the Indian SaaS/IT market
- Experience selling SaaS or IT-related products to Indian enterprises or mid-market companies
- Familiarity with sales engagement platforms (Outplay, Salesloft, or similar)
- Strong understanding of the Indian tech ecosystem – key verticals, buying cycles, and decision-making structures
- Ambition and hustle with a learning mindset
- Outstanding communication in English
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in Hindi or a regional language is a plus
Additional Information
- Role is based in India and focused on expanding DevRev's customer base across the Indian market
- Responsible for building a healthy revenue pipeline in India
- Expected to refine go-to-market messaging for the India market
- Must provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams on market dynamics
