Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain SAP S/4HANA during migration ensuring high availability, scalability, and optimal performance.
• Maintain SAP and DB performance by planning and executing SAP and DB tuning strategies.
• Set up the new SAP S/4HANA environment in the cloud, ensuring proper configuration, and addressing any compatibility issues.
• Collaborate with the project team to facilitate the smooth migration of data from on-premises systems to the cloud.
• Ensuring that the SAP S/4HANA system in the cloud performs optimally and addressing any performance-related challenges.
• Implementing and validating security measures to protect data during and after migration.
• Coordinate system copies, refreshes, and client exports/imports as needed.
• Collaborate with the SAP Cloud Migration Architect to understand migration requirements and objectives.
• Contribute to the development of a detailed migration plan, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.
• Execute the migration plan, utilizing SAP migration tools and cloud-specific methodologies.
• Optimize SAP configurations for cloud environments to ensure efficient performance and resource utilization.
• Work closely with infrastructure teams to address performance bottlenecks and enhance system responsiveness.
• Implement and maintain security measures in the SAP landscape, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities and ensure a secure SAP environment in the cloud.
• Design and implement robust backup and recovery strategies for SAP systems in the cloud.
• Conduct regular testing of backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
