Scale Virtually is looking for a Part-Time Technical Advisor - AI Systems & Automation. This fractional, asynchronous role provides high-level technical guidance to support a full-time automation engineer. You will focus on solving advanced technical challenges and designing scalable solutions, not on daily execution or sprints.

What You'll Do

Provide architectural direction and high-level input on GPT-based automations and AI workflows.
Assist in building or reviewing integrations using OpenAI APIs, LangChain, Pinecone, Zapier/Make, or webhooks.
Troubleshoot back-end logic, webhooks, or token/auth issues encountered by the core team.
Offer asynchronous support via Looms, written documentation, or technical notes.
Write or review scripts where needed.
Suggest scalable, maintainable solutions that support long-term efficiency.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience providing high-level technical guidance for AI and automation systems.
Expertise in building or troubleshooting integrations with OpenAI APIs, LangChain, Pinecone, or automation platforms.
Strong ability to solve complex backend, API, and logic issues asynchronously.
Proficiency in scripting with Python and/or JavaScript.
Experience designing scalable, intelligent workflows.
