Pennsylvania State University is hiring a Part Time Student - Campus Life Assistant to support the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership (SEAL) in enhancing campus life. This student position involves hands-on work in programming, administration, and operational tasks to support student organizations and community initiatives.

What You'll Do

Create advertisements for specific events using Canva.
Create RSVP forms and assist with tracking attendance at events.
Assist with purchasing materials for events and posting on the SEAL Instagram.
Support major student events like Club Rush, Involvement Fair, and Club Training.
Attend SGA General Assembly as a liaison for the SEAL office.
Assist with tracking community service hours and online purchases for clubs.
Help design, build, and maintain the Discover East platform.
Assist with recruitment and marketing for Alternative Spring Break programming.
Develop application materials and maintain the Alternative Spring Break website.
Research, develop, and advertise fundraising and community service opportunities.
Coordinate community service events and create follow-up surveys.
Connect with local organizations to build an online inventory of recommended partners.
Greet students and manage the Game Room, including checking out gaming consoles.
Maintain a neat and orderly game room and enforce its rules.
Refill Student Affairs athletic equipment and ensure devices are charged.
Assist with stocking and maintaining the food pantry, including monitoring freezer temperature and cleaning the microwave.
Create and put up bulletin boards and display cases.
Manage and maintain designated rooms like Perkins Room 10.
Cover the SEAL desk on a weekly basis.
Monitor website content for accuracy and ease of access.
Identify areas for improvement and develop content to enhance awareness of SEAL resources.
