Boots Opticians is seeking a dedicated Optometrist to join our store in Braintree, Essex. In this part-time, permanent role, you will be at the heart of delivering brilliant patient care, using the latest technology, and supporting the community with clinical excellence. You'll lead clinics and play a key role as part of the store's leadership team.
What You'll Do
- Lead clinics and deliver outstanding patient care.
- Use the latest testing technology to assess eye health and provide expert advice.
- Provide enhanced services, from triage support to advanced assessments, depending on store needs.
- Offer clinical support to colleagues on the shop floor.
- Collaborate with external healthcare professionals.
- Keep your clinical knowledge up to date and share it with others.
- Play a key role in your store’s leadership team, bringing energy and insight to every shift.
What We're Looking For
- GOC registered (or expecting to be within 6 months).
- NHS performer number (or working towards it).
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- A genuine interest in patient care and team collaboration.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting enhanced services.
- A strong understanding of local clinical networks.
