Huawei Telekomünikasyon Dış Ticaret Ltd is looking for an Optical Network Engineer to be responsible for the planning, installation, migration, and support of our optical transmission networks. You will provide both remote and on-site support for network expansions, feature testing, software upgrades, and subcontractor training.

What You'll Do

Support planning for new sites, boards, and DCN equipment installation based on HLD/LLD preparation on MDS, Service LLD, and DCN planning per NE.
Support site migration and swap planning, including creating end-to-end migration plans and executing them on the NMS.
Provide remote or on-site support for new NE installation, expansions, and DCN equipment installation, handling customer/subcontractor communication, HLD/LLD control, U2000 integration, and alarm control.
Provide remote or on-site support for site/sub rack and service migrations, performing health checks, preparing migration plans/MOPs, securing internal approvals (RFC), coordinating with customers/subcontractors, implementing migration, and controlling alarms.
Provide remote or on-site support for feature testing in lab and on-site environments, including test bed setup, executing tests, and documenting and sharing results.
Support software upgrades for NE and ASON operations, conducting pre-check analysis, execution, post-check monitoring, and customer communication.
Recognize technical problems requiring escalation to HQ and track the process flow.
Follow internal regulations and use internal delivery management tools for project delivery.
Provide remote or on-site support for subcontractor training.

What We're Looking For

A university degree in engineering or bachelor of science fields.
At least 2 years of experience with cabled transmission devices (e.g., SDH, DWDM).
Ability to produce and present concise reports.
Ability to provide guidance to customers.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work long hours when required.
Strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills in both Turkish and English.
For male candidates, military service must be completed or postponed for at least 2 years.
Capacity to work under stress.
No travel restrictions.

Nice to Have

A degree in electric electronic engineering or electronic and communication engineering is preferred.
Knowledge of Huawei transmission systems (e.g., OSN series) is a plus.
Knowledge of NMS (e.g., Huawei U2000 network management system) is preferred.
A B Class driving license is a plus.
