Amgen Inc. is hiring an Operations Project Manager to join its team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within budget and timeline, gaining breadth of experience across Operations and building leadership capabilities.
What You'll Do
- Support cross-functional teams to get results velocity through aligned roadmaps and deliverables.
- Organize and facilitate meetings, including agenda and minutes, ensuring pre-reads are distributed, and following through action items to completion.
- Track critical team initiatives, calling out risks and dependencies that may impact project scope, timelines, and commitments.
What We're Looking For
- Doctorate degree
- OR Master’s degree and 3 years of Project Management experience
- OR Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Project Management experience
- OR Associate’s degree and 10 years of Project Management experience
- OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Project Management experience
- Experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing the allocation of resources.
Nice to Have
- PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification
- Experience working in biotech, pharma, or manufacturing operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Power BI)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading process improvement or change management initiatives
