TBC Corporation is hiring an Operations Manager I to lead a Distribution Center (DC). You will oversee all operational aspects including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and route management, ensuring performance standards are met while fostering a safe and engaged team environment.
What You'll Do
- Oversee all DC operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and route management.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team through hiring, training, and performance management.
- Meet or exceed performance standards for quality and service level agreements.
- Maximize cost control in relation to all variable expenses.
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all picking, receiving, put away, and shipping functions.
- Maintain employee engagement and administer company Human Resource policies.
- Implement company and regulatory training to ensure staff is equipped for their duties.
- Maintain the facility, equipment, and vehicles to ensure safe, efficient, low-cost operation.
- Ensure a safe work environment is present at all times and that all employees abide by safety guidelines.
- Operate material handling equipment and manage inventory as needed.

- A current driver’s license and ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends.
- 24/7 access to a cell phone, email, and security system for emergencies.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Nice to Have
- A 4-year degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent distribution/transportation experience.
- Management experience including leadership, time management, and coaching skills.
- Experience with SAP and routing software.
