UT Health San Antonio was looking for an Open Rank - Assistant, Associate or Professor/Clinical

The UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry is looking for a full-time dentist to join the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry – Division of Oral Medicine/Orofacial Pain. This is an Open Rank position at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor/Clinical level (non-tenure track) focused on clinical and/or pre-clinical teaching in Oral Medicine and related topics.

What You'll Do

  • Teach didactic and clinical courses in Oral Medicine and related topics.
  • Provide other teaching activities for a full-time teaching load, covering history taking, physical evaluation, oral medicine, orofacial pain, and the management of the medically compromised patient.

What We're Looking For

  • DDS or DMD degree from a CODA-accredited dental school or foreign equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited residency in oral medicine (CODA-accredited oral medicine program).
  • Oral medicine board eligibility.
  • Current Texas State Dental license or eligibility for one.

Nice to Have

  • Oral medicine board certification.

Technical Stack

  • Proficient in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
  • Proficient in digital imaging.

You will be part of the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry – Division of Oral Medicine/Orofacial Pain within the School of Dentistry.
