NeoGenomics is hiring an Oncology Sales Specialist- North Houston/Austin

About the Role

This position drives adoption of precision oncology testing by engaging oncologists, pathologists, and laboratory directors through education and consultative selling.

Responsibilities

  • Promote molecular and genetic testing services to oncology practices and pathology groups
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key healthcare decision-makers
  • Deliver clinical presentations to medical staff and laboratory teams
  • Collaborate with medical affairs and operations teams to support client needs
  • Achieve quarterly sales targets within assigned geography
  • Conduct territory business reviews and pipeline assessments
  • Identify new market opportunities in academic and community settings
  • Attend regional conferences and professional events
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies
  • Submit accurate sales activity and forecasting data
  • Coordinate with reimbursement specialists for client support
  • Serve as primary point of contact for client inquiries
  • Gather market intelligence and share competitive insights
  • Support onboarding of new clients with tailored resources
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of oncology guidelines and testing advancements
  • Participate in national sales training and meetings
  • Utilize CRM tools for tracking client interactions
  • Respond to clinical questions with support from scientific staff
  • Advocate for patient access to advanced diagnostics
  • Drive awareness of testing protocols among referring physicians
