All Care Therapies is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) - Bilingual Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in various settings
  • Assess patients' functional abilities and develop treatment plans
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' daily living skills
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home programs
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans
  • Adjust treatment plans as needed based on patient progress
  • Provide training and supervision to support staff and students
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
  • Maintain current knowledge of occupational therapy practices and trends
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
  • Provide input on program development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Conduct functional assessments and evaluations
  • Develop and implement community-based rehabilitation programs
  • Provide ergonomic assessments and workplace safety recommendations
  • Participate in outreach and educational activities to promote occupational therapy
  • Provide culturally competent care to diverse patient populations
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Ensure the availability of necessary equipment and supplies
  • Attend and participate in continuing education and professional development activities
  • Provide support and mentorship to new and less experienced staff members
  • Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance activities
  • Maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information
  • Provide compassionate and patient-centered care to all patients
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards in occupational therapy practice

Education and Licensure

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of employment
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent
  • Certification in Occupational Therapy (OTR) or equivalent
  • Certification in Pediatric Occupational Therapy (if applicable)
  • Certification in Geriatric Occupational Therapy (if applicable)
  • Certification in Assistive Technology (if applicable)
  • Certification in Ergonomics (if applicable)
  • Certification in Telehealth (if applicable)
  • Certification in Community-Based Rehabilitation (if applicable)
