BRF is hiring an Occupational Health Nurse Technician to execute technical activities that promote workplace health and safety. You will be responsible for controlling legal processes and documentation while actively working to prevent occupational diseases and accidents across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Execute technical activities, follow established processes, and maintain controls within the occupational health area.
- Promote occupational health by disseminating corporate guidelines and health and safety standards.
- Adopt actions to mitigate the risk of occupational diseases and protect people's integrity and work capacity.
- Conduct investigations, monitoring, and evaluations to identify control variables for diseases and accidents.
- Analyze and recommend measures to reduce or eliminate occupational disease risks for employees and third parties.
- Participate in projects aimed at minimizing work-related disease risks.
- Evaluate hygiene, unsanitary, and hazardous conditions in the environment.
- Observe regulatory standards for safety and worker health protection measures.
- Follow and disseminate the company's health and safety policy.
- Create and execute prevention programs to inform about occupational risks.
- Encourage the use of individual and collective protective equipment and a culture of safe behavior.
- Manage medical certificates and occupational health examinations (ASO).
- Control admission, periodic, job change, return-to-work, and dismissal exams.
- Ensure compliance with legal obligations and documentation.
- Support service providers performing occupational exams.
- Control and register absences, scheduling, and consultations at the INSS.
- Maintain consistent data and information in the system.
- Control and register returns from absence, communicating with HR.
- Develop and monitor occupational health area indicators.
- Identify the main causes of absenteeism and absences for action plan development.
- Receive, evaluate, and triage people showing signs/symptoms of occupational diseases.
- Conduct investigations and perform necessary controls.
- Act in healthcare by providing first aid to people with emergencies within the company.
- Conduct health triage for referral to a doctor.
- Participate in disease prevention and vaccination campaigns.
- Conduct lectures, provide information, and clarify topics.
- Administer training, lead meetings, committees, and working groups on the subject.
- Contribute to disseminating the health and safety policy and encouraging a culture of safe behavior.
- Interface with leadership to ensure compliance with legislation and BRF's internal standards.
- Provide technical guidance to the Internal Commission for Accident Prevention (CIPA) and Emergency Brigade.
- Manage medication inventories, making purchases when necessary.
- Fulfill the guidelines established in BRF's Sustainability Policy.
- Ensure adherence to the BRF Sustainability Plan through routine activities that promote its management.
- Meet the company's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) indicators and global commitments.
- Ensure the connection between your actions and sustainable development within BRF's chain.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma with a Technical Course in Occupational Nursing.
