ATS Institute of Technology is hiring a part-time Nursing Instructor specializing in Maternity and Pediatrics for remote/online instruction. You will deliver engaging online lessons to Practical Nursing students, helping them master maternal-child health concepts, clinical judgment, and NCLEX-PN readiness. We are dedicated to providing a transformative educational experience that makes a real difference.
What You'll Do
- Deliver dynamic, inclusive, and interactive online lessons in Maternity and Pediatrics.
- Equip students with the knowledge and confidence to excel in maternal-child nursing practice and on the NCLEX-PN exam.
- Identify individual student needs and create targeted remediation plans.
- Work closely with academic leadership and faculty peers to align teaching with program goals.
- Create an inclusive virtual classroom environment that fosters active participation.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
- A current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Illinois.
- Passion for education and the ability to connect with a diverse group of students.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Nice to Have
- A Master's or Doctorate in Nursing.
- Prior teaching experience, particularly in an online or remote environment.
- Recent clinical practice experience and/or teaching experience.
