About the Role

Argenx is building a new kind of biotech company, maintaining its roots as a science-based start-up. We are looking for a Nurse Case Manager in Houston, TX to serve as the single point of contact for patients and caregivers affected by generalized Myasthenia Gravis (gMG). You will educate them about the disease and our support services, empowering them to manage their treatment and navigate their care journey.

What You'll Do

  • Provide direct educational training and support to patients and caregivers about gMG and prescribed argenx products
  • Manage patient cases across regions as coverage and volume requires
  • Communicate insurance coverage updates and findings to the patient and/or caregiver
  • Review and educate patients and caregivers on financial assistance programs they may be eligible for
  • Coordinate logistical support for patients to receive therapy and manage their disease
  • Collaborate with argenx Patient Access Specialist, Case Coordinator, and Field Reimbursement Manager teams to troubleshoot reimbursement-related issues
  • Engage with patients and provider case coordinators to ensure individualized support
  • Provide patient-focused education to empower patients to advocate on their behalf
  • Develop relationships and manage multiple and complex challenges that patients and caregivers face
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry laws and argenx's policies
  • Travel regionally for patient education to support patient programs

What We're Looking For

  • Current RN License in good standing
  • 5+ years clinical experience in healthcare to include hospital, home health, pharmaceutical, or biotech
  • 2-5+ years of case management experience

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
  • Reimbursement experience
  • Bilingual or multilingual

Technical Stack

  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Team & Environment

You will collaborate closely with argenx Patient Access Specialist, Case Coordinator, and Field Reimbursement Manager teams.

This role is based locally in Houston, TX.
