Greensboro Radiology, part of a practice with 9 imaging centers and 8 hospital affiliations, is looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform nuclear medicine procedures that assist in the diagnosis of disease or injury. You'll ensure the technical quality of images while working within our mission to Transform Radiology.
What You'll Do
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures as prescribed by a physician
- Follow established techniques and methods in operating equipment and processing images
- Ensure technical quality of images
- Exercise judgment in processing assigned workload
What We're Looking For
- Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) recognized by the American Heart Association
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) registry, or must be registry-eligible and obtain registry within one year of employment
- Ability to start and maintain an IV
- Knowledge of nuclear medicine technology principles and procedures, acquired through completion of an approved nuclear medicine technology training program
