Transdev is seeking an Night Shift Fleet Automotive Technician (A-Level) to join our team in Orlando, FL. You will apply your expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining automotive engines across our fleet to ensure safety, efficiency, and asset longevity. This position operates on a night shift schedule of 11pm to 7:30am.
What You'll Do
- Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine necessary repairs on engines.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance.
- Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
- Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, assisting them in developing their skills.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate repairs.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mechanic.
- A valid CDL Driver's License is required.
- ASE certifications are required; a company-paid ASE certification program is provided.
- Your own Mechanic’s Tool Set.
- Subject to a DOT physical exam and DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Benefits & Compensation
- Competitive compensation: $23.00 – $30.00 per hour.
- A $2.00 per hour shift differential.
- Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks.
